- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Combine flour, crushed nuts, sugar, and melted butter.
- Press mixture into a 9x13 baking dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes and let cool entirely.
- Spread cherry pie filling evenly over the cooled crust.
- Beat cream cheese in a mixer until light and fluffy.
- Mix in powdered sugar until completely smooth.
- Fold in 1 cup of Cool Whip.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cherry layer.
- Whisk instant pudding mix and milk together until thickened.
- Spread the pudding carefully over the cream cheese layer.
- Top the dessert with the remaining Cool Whip.
- Sprinkle chocolate shavings evenly over the top.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
Always allow the baked crust to cool completely before adding the fruit filling to prevent the layers from melting. Dip your knife into warm water and wipe it dry between slices for the cleanest cuts.
