Ingredients
Method
- Prepare a 9x13 baking dish by lightly spraying it with cooking spray and setting it aside.
- Stir together the graham cracker crumbs, melted salted butter, and light brown sugar in a large bowl until combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of the baking dish to create a crust, then refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Beat together the sweetened condensed milk and softened cream cheese using a mixer for 1 to 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Beat the drained crushed pineapple and lemon juice into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the creamy mixture over the chilled graham cracker crust and top with a layer of sliced bananas.
- Spread the whipped topping evenly over the banana layer and chill until ready to serve.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top, sprinkle with chopped pecans, finish with maraschino cherries, and serve immediately.
Notes
Drain the crushed pineapple extremely well to prevent a soggy dessert. Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened at room temperature to avoid lumps.
